  • Puff Didiy, Rocket & the Canibal, not sure who road runner is.  Im into the ebragger web site.  Logged in with my alias which Im sure you will know.  I will have to get an image up on the screen too.  Hope this format goes well, it certainly has got some potential.
Tomorrow's HSB ride (18/08) in the hills is shaping up to be a big show down with Parkesy threatening to ride home with his cock out if he doesnt beat Stu up Canadian and the Rookie will take up Badminton if Stu beats him up Two Bays.  So look out

  • Bloody excellent stuff Wayne-arse. Looks like you own the Southern Vets A Grade racing now. Cant wait to see you out on the new bike you were talking about on Saturday that you are getting set up for racing. You will be a dead certainty every time.

  • What about Road Block Paulie!
We need to get the Road Block (Mark) into the leader board.  As Parkesey already mentioned he is beating the Rookie for the Caltex Golden Helmet Award for most promising rider of the year.  Another thing, we have to subtract 2 from the Rookie to counteract him voting for himself.  Just kidding.  String

  • Must confess I too voted for myself and Pirate for that matter,.....but only once unlike Rookie who obviously voted for himself at least three or four times!!!! C'mon Rookie, fess up we all know it's true - fair enough you are somewhere in the mix for top 10 or so amongst Caltex ranks but that's about as good as gets. Another way would be for me to call for all those who voted for Rookie to reply to this and advise that they did so,....sadly I am expecting at least 4 e-mails titled,...."Sam Ball - Rookie Posted....."

  • Very early days Nick, I'm sure towards the end of the year we can vote on a list of awards and have a pre Chrissy drink!
The Poll will only allow one vote per person and as of tomorrow only the group memebers  suscribed to the Caltex Crew will be able to vote!
We need to get the other boys on board.
When you go into the group...you can invite a friend to the group. All you need is their email address.
    Give a go!
    See you tomorrow!
    PD.

  • Took a new Giant TCR Advanced out for a bash yesterday, rides well. Have decided that for beach rd and the flat there is virtually no difference between these flash new superlight carbon jobs and my old Jalopy. The difference is really only on the hills, oh and I guess the gear changes are a bit smoother on the new number. Will try the new madone next week. More importantly how did the Southern Vets club champs go??

  • The race panned out the way I anticapated ,  after 15km's warm up the 1st hill smashed the group! Had my HR at 183bpm, 2 jockeys got away then myself & 2 others chased. One of the guys sat on for about 20 mins. The race was 70km's, we couldn't catch the 2 guys and out of us it was a sprint for 3rd
Rocket did well chasing the 2 guys that were away in his group...doing a 50km TT on a hilly track with head/cross wind averaging 39kph. Awesome effort!!

  • Can you subtract votes?
Got dropped coming up Balcome as the pace was sizzling this morning.  So I need to subtract the vote that I got last week.  At the time I was dropped I had it at 44.3 average and I teamed up with Road Block & Polka dot Pete and we still managed 43.0 average on the line so we must not have been very far back.  Well done PD awesome work I voted for you today, big effort to come out after a hard race on Sunday.
