Dropped my chain going up
by Heath Bludger[Coach]Dropped my chain going up the hill between Beach Rdand Como Pde, got completely jammed and locked. F#cked the chain and I think the chain-ring and small cogs on the rear deuralier. Rocket stopped and we managed to straighten it enough with a brick and a fire hydrant to get home!!! Limped home with Rocket having to push me up the rises out of Mentone, Rickets Point and Half Moon as it just kept slipping under load. Must be a sign it's time to make a decision and buy a new bike!!

Whats going on, did the bunch get split and Stu, Rod & Sam get cut off, or like you say they got a flat tyre. I know how they feel, I got a flat tyre on the way to the servo this morning and missed the bunch ride or was it that my bike didnt even get out of the house cause the wheels fell off. I put a vote in for Richie 'Burnout' Pearce because puting turns up Como where its usually the traditional breather recovery spot. Lovely Darts.

by PD[Club]A small group turned up for a morning of pain!
My ride stats are: 40.6km/h avg speed, HR avg 163bpm...maxing at 176.
Notable performances: Parkesy's "taking a hit for the team" turn sitting on 45kph just prior Bay Rd.
The Wookie once again firing up the group up at the start causing a gap before the Clock Tower.
Roadblock and the Wookie going head to head (a-la Ali & Frazier in Manilla) on the sprint to the finish line...the Roadblock may have hung on for win! Is that his maiden victory?
Richie Pearce had a few impressive turns on the front, the best one leading the group into Como Pde...uphill with a Northerly!
Not too sure what happened to Banga, Rocket & Rookie, could've been a flat!
